Bharati Airtel today launched 4G LTE services in Bengaluru, the second city to get 4G after Kolkata. The 4G plans launched are the same as the ones for Kolkata. An additional plan Break Free Ultimate has been introduced offering 30 GB of 4G data and is priced at Rs 2999/-.

Airtel has also introduced cash back offers with these plans where you get back a months rental to a little over 2.5 months rental cash back over 6 to 24 months, depending on the pack you sign up for.

BSNL has revised the tariff of promotional offer “New Karnataka Mitra”  in Karnataka Circle.

The plan costs Rs 29 and applicable for both 2G and 3G. 2G SIM cost Rs 20 and 3G SIM costs Rs 59. Free talktime of 50 minutes of loal calls and 100 SMS will be available for 30 days to the user.

All calls will be charged at 1.2p/minute. Local SMS will be charged at 50 p/SMS, National SMS at 60p/SMS and ISD SMS at Rs 5/SMS.

This plan will be available in Karnataka up to 3rd July 2012.

Airtel has announced that it famous Hello Tunes service  is now available on Gaana.com

Customers have to pay Rs 30(all circles) Rs 36 for MP and Rs 35 for Karnataka for 30 days subscription.

Rs 15 will be charged for each Hello Tune with 90 days validity.

BSNL has announced a tariff revision for its prepaid CDMA users. Now users can make local and STD BSNL-BSNL calls at 45p/min. Also Local and STD other network calls will be charged at 60p/min.

SMS will cost at 50p/sms for local and 60p/sms for STD. and 60p/sms while roaming.

The above tariff will be available from 1st May 2012.

Airtel has announced new 3G plans for its postpaid Blackberry users. 1GB of free 3G data will be offered to blackberry users who use their blackberry as modem and also offers unlimited internet browsing.

Monthly rental of Rs 299 will be charged. This plan is available for users who have subscribed for Rs 599 , Rs 399 or Rs 899 plan.

BSNL launches new STVs of Rs 45 and Rs 49 in Kolkata region. These STVs offers users reduced Local and STD call rates.

STV 45 offers local calls to BSNL networks at 15p/minute and other network at 40p/minute.

STV 49 offers STD calls to BSNL network at 20p/minute and other network at  40p/minute.

These STVs are available only upto 16th July 2012.

Rs600= 3GB

Rs 500=2GB

Rs750=5GB

Rs 1099=10GB

Rs1500=15GB respectively.

The above STVs will be available from 1st May 2012.
