Talasari ( Talasri ) is a city and a municipal council in Thane district in the Indian state of Maharashtra.It is one of the talukas of Thane district where famous Warli art is inhabited. Talasari is located at 2004N 7233E / 20.06N 72.55E / 20.06; 72.55. It has an average elevation of 44metres (147feet). It is located on National Highway 8 Delhi - Jaipur - Ahmedabad - Mumbai and is on Maharashtra - Gujarat-Dadara & Nagar Haveli border. Talasari was famous for education, few famous schools are 1.
