Konch is a city and a municipal board in Jalaun district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. Konch(Hindi: ) is located at 2559N 7909E / 25.98N 79.15E / 25.98; 79.15. It has an average elevation of 141metres (462feet). Konch is a small town in district Jalaun of Uttar Pradesh. There is one of the shortest Railway line of India(only for 13km) with shortest shuttle of India between Konch and Ait Junction. You can reach to Konch by bus or by train from the nearest city in south Jhansi or in north Kanpur(both are at a distance of almost 100km from the place). Ait is situated on the railway track between Jhansi and Kanpur, and from Ait you can easily get the shuttle from Ait to Konch. Konch is now developing as per the present scenario. It is one of the centre of business in district Jalaun.
