Bodinayakanur, also called Bodi, is a town in Theni District in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Bodinayakanur is located at 1001N 7721E / 10.017N 77.35E / 10.017; 77.35 (10.016667, 77.35) at the foothills of the Western Ghats. Theni, the nearest market town is 16km from Bodi. It usually has very hot days and warm nights. It doesnot get regular rainfall. It sometimes gets heavy rainfall. There are many temples, Churches and mosques found here. They are totally two churches and two mosques found here. There are many temples. One of the famous temples is Konrangi Malleswar Temple. It is a Sivan Temple. The other one is Subramani Swami Temple. It is a Murugan Temple. Both are famous among the people of Bodi. Z.K.M School was the first school in this district and around Madurai which was started before hundred years.
