Barachati is a block (Tahsil, Parkhand) in Gaya district of Bihar, India. It is near about 40km (25mi) from Gaya situated on Sher Shah Suri Marg (GT Road) between Kolkatta and Delhi. It is surrounded by the Kamaun range. The current MLA of the area is Shanti Devi. The main market is Barachatti, Sobh, Sarwan and Bhadeya.
