Dinapore (now known as Danapur) was a British colony in Bihar on the banks of River Ganges, near to Patna, the capital city of Bihar. Since Indian independence in 1947, it has been a major cantt of the Indian army and is still the place where one of the glorious regiments, the "Bihar Regiment" resides. Naulakha Mandir, in the outskirts of the town, is a must-see place of interest. The ambience is serene and calm.
