About Nakhatrana

Nakhatrana is situated in the middle of Kutch, Gujarat, in India. A small town, it is famous for its spicy Dabeli snack. It is also known as the origin of onion samosas. Nakhatrana is a tehsil, and the town is popular for its 'Bangles.' Kotda (jadodar) is one of its villages. About an hour's drive from the main town, is a village, famous for a temple. Another interesting place to visit in Nakhatrana district is Dhinodhar Temple. It lies on beautiful mountain range with the abide of Lord Shiva on the top of the hill. It is just 20km away from Nakhatrana on the way to Nani Aral village. The height of Dhinodhar hills is 1190 feet, or 361 meters. The Tropic of Cancer (or Kurk Vrut) passes here, touching the southern tip of the temple.
