Doda (Dogri/Hindi: ) is a town and a notified area committee in Doda district in Jammu & Kashmir of India. Doda is located at 3308N 7534E / 33.13N 75.57E / 33.13; 75.57. It has an average elevation of 1107metres (3631feet). As of 2001 India census, Doda had a population of 13,249. Males constitute 63% of the population and females 37%. Doda has an average literacy rate of 5% higher than the Indian national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 85% and, female literacy is 61%. In Doda, 10% of the population is under 6 years of age. The town is 80% Muslim.
