Ahmednagar pronunciation (helpinfo)(Marathi: , Urdu: ) is a city of Ahmednagar District in the state of Maharashtra, India, on the west bank of the Sina river, about 120km northeast of Pune and 120km from Aurangabad. Ahmednagar District is the largest district in the state of Maharashtra. Sugar, milk and bank co-operatives thrive here.
