Ahmadpur is a city and a municipal council in Latur District in the state of Maharashtra, India. It is a taluk headquarters town situated 50km north of Udgir, in Latur District. Chakur is 27km south-west while Nanded is 66km north-east. The major educational institutes in the city include Mahatma Gandhi College, Bal-Bhagwan Education Society and Vichar Vikas Mandal Education Society.
