About Amroha

Amroha (Hindi: , Urdu: ) is a town in north-western Uttar Pradesh state in northern India, located north-west of Moradabad, near the Sot River. It is the administrative headquarters of the Jyotiba Phule Nagar district. Amroha is located at 2855N 7828E / 28.92N 78.47E / 28.92; 78.47. It has an average elevation of 211metres (692feet).
