Auraiya (Hindi: , Urdu: ) is a city and a municipal board in Auraiya district in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. On 17 September 1997 two tehsils named Auraiya and Bidhuna were separated from district Etawah to form the new district named as Auraiya.
