Bawal (Hindi: ) is a municipality of Rewari district in the state of Haryana, India. Bawal comes under the National Capital Region (NCR) of India and is strategically located on the National Highway 8, about 14 km from Rewari, 60km from Gurgaon and about 100km from Delhi. Bawal is located at coordinates 2805N 7635E / 28.08N 76.58E / 28.08; 76.58. It has an average elevation of 266metres (872 feet). As of 2001 India census, Bawal had a population of 13,016. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. There is a big industrial growth centre being developed by HSIIDC in Bawal. Many MNCs like Musashi Auto Parts India, Kansai Nerolac, Asahi India, Atlas, YKK India Pvt.
