Bhusawal or Bhusaval (Marathi: ) is a city and a municipal council in Jalgaon district in the state of Maharashtra, India. Bhusawal is located at 210250.56N 754715.99E / 21.0473778N 75.787775E / 21.0473778; 75.787775. It has an average elevation of 209metres (685feet). Bhusawal is located on the bank of Tapi river, is the biggest taluka of Jalgaon district, and situated on National Highway No. 6 (NH6). Bhusawal railway junction is one of the largest railway yards of the Indian subcontinent. The hinterland of Bhusawal is famous for banana cultivation. World Heritage famous Ajanta is about 60km (via Jamner) from Bhusawal. Bhusawal is also known as Bhusaval.
