Binpur I (community development block) (Bengali: I ) is an administrative division in Jhargram subdivision of Paschim Medinipur district in the Indian state of West Bengal. Binpur and Lalgarh police station serve this block. Headquarters of this block is at Lalgarh. Lalgarh is located at 223529N 870316E / 22.59125N 87.05431E / 22.59125; 87.05431. Binpur I community development block has an area of 362.96 km. Gram panchayats of Binpur I block/ panchayat samiti are: Andharia, Belatikri, Binpur, Boita, Dahijuri, Dharampur, Lalgarh, Nepuria, Ramgarh and Sijua As per 2001 census, Binpur I block had a total population of 139,136, out of which 71,072 were males and 68,064 were females.
