Chincholi (Kannada: ) is a panchayat town in Gulbarga district in the state of Karnataka, India. It is also the headquarters of the Chincholi taluk. Chincholi is located at 1728N 7726E / 17.47N 77.43E / 17.47; 77.43. It has an average elevation of 462metres (1515feet). The town is spread over an area of 6km. As of 2001 India census, Chincholi had a population of 17,158. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%.
