Dharampur, was a princely state ruled by Sisodia Rajput rulers, which acceded to the Union of India June 10, 1948. It is now loacted in Gujarat, India. It had an area of 1,823 km2 and fell under Bombay Presidency and was given a status of 9-guns salute by British. Today, it is a small, peaceful town with royal heritage and a tourist destination. It is located on Waghai-Vansda Highway, with Waghai just 4 km away. The town is on the banks of Swargavahini river at the foothills of the Sahyadri mountain range.
