Dubrajpur (Bengali: ) is a town and a municipality in Suri Sadar subdivision of Birbhum District in the Indian state of West Bengal. Dubrajpur is located at 2348N 8723E / 23.8N 87.38E / 23.8; 87.38. It has an average elevation of 77metres (252feet). As of 2001 India census, Dubrajpur had a population of 32,752. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Dubrajpur has an average literacy rate of 56%, lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 65% and, female literacy is 46%. In Dubrajpur, 14% of the population is under 6 years of age. Dubrajpur is 35km from Andal and 19km from Suri on the Andal-Sainthia Branch Line of Eastern Railway. It is on PanagarhMorgram Highway.
