BIOGRAPHY

Adam Hauck is a writer, producer, and director, living and working in Los Angeles, California.Hauck studied creative writing at San Diego State University, and briefly pursued a career in journalism before moving to Los Angeles to work in television and film production. Adam quickly found work as a writer and producer on the nightly FX talk show, The X Show, then later worked on Comedy Centrals Beat the Geeks, and several reality TV shows, including MTVs Road Rules and NBCs Who Wants to Marry My Dad? In 2004, Adam made his feature film debut, writing and producing the documentary HOMECOMING, which he made with long-time producing partner George Cawood. HOMECOMING went on to enjoy an award winning festival run before finding a home on PBS. Some of Adams recent work can be seen in the DVD special features he has written and produced for Gary Rosss Seabiscuit, James Camerons Ghosts of the Abyss, Joss Whedons Serenity, and Joe Carnahans crime thriller Smokin Aces. In 2007 he directed a music video for the post-rock band El Ten Eleven.
