Angelina Jolie fondly known as Angie made her debut as a child actor in the film Lookin to Get Out (1982) and her first role as a lead actor was in the film Cyborg 2 (1993). It was in 1998 she got her breakthrough role as an actor with the movie Gia which gave her stardom. There was no turning back after that and Angelina Jolie at present is considered a very bankable star. She has had a good career studded with a lot of awards to her credit. Her maiden award was the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress – Series, Miniseries, or Television Film for George Wallace which has since been followed by many more. The iconic films in Jolies career so far are Hackers (1995), George Wallace (1997), Gia (1998), Girl, Interrupted (1999), Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (2001), Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2005), Wanted (2008), Salt (2010), A Mighty Heart (2007), Changeling (2008), Maleficent (2014), In the Land of Blood and Honey (2011), Unbroken (2014), First They Killed My Father (2017) to name a few. Angelina Jolie Voight, daughter of actors Jon Voight and Marcheline Bertrand was born on June 4, 1975, in Los Angeles, California. She attended Beverly Hills High School and Moreno High School. She has received a Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award and made an honorary Dame Commander of the Order of St Michael and St George.
