Ashton Smith (born August 21, 1962) is an American voice actor who has recorded many movie trailers, television commercials, and network promotions. He served as the narrator for the documentary series Seconds From Disaster of the National Geographic Channel (seasons 1 to 3).Ashton started voicing movie trailers in December 2001.Ashton Smith recorded movie trailers for The Sum of All Fears, The Truth About Charlie, Project Almanac, and Cloverfield.
