Barbara D'Alterio

Barbara DAlterio is a British actress of stage and screen.She is perhaps best known for her role as Italian Silvia in the Channel 4 television soap opera Hollyoaks (2005). Her film work includes Ronny in The Wedding Ensemble (2006), the lead role of Hannah in the comedy Anxious Dave (2005) and Amy in The Occupier (2005).Stage roles include Ursula in People in Glass Houses at the Brockley Jack Theatre (2006) and Kelly in Last Night a DJ Saved My Life at the Metro Gilded Balloon for the Edinburgh Fringe (2004).DAlterio trained at the Academy Drama School and at Arts Ed School of Acting, where she was nominated for the Carlton Hobbs and Laurence Olivier Bursary Awards.In 2010 she was cast in various projects including American Rebellion, The End of It, a pilot for Talkback Thames written by Roisin Conaty and Article 64.
