BIOGRAPHY

William Edward Crystal professionally known as Billy Crystal made his debut as an actor in the film Rabbit Test (1978). It was in 1987 he gained wider recognition as an actor with the film The Princess Bride. There was no turning back after that and Billy at present is considered as a very bankable star. He has had a good career studded with a lot of awards to his credit. His maiden award was the Primetime Emmy Awards for Individual Performance in a Variety or Music Program for the 31st Annual Grammy Awards which has since been followed by many more. The iconic films in Billys career so far are The Princess Bride (1987), Throw Momma from the Train (1987), When Harry Met Sally... (1989), City Slickers (1991), Mr. Saturday Night (1992), Analyze This (1999), and Parental Guidance (2012) to name a few. Crystal son of Jack Crystal and Helen Crystal was born on March 14, 1948, in New York City, New York, the U.S. He attended Long Beach High School and graduated from there in the year 1965. He graduated from New York University in 1970 with a BFA from its School of Fine Arts.
