Brandon Oakes is a Canadian/American actor from Akwesasne. He is most noted for his role in the film Through Black Spruce, for which he received a Canadian Screen Award nomination for Best Actor at the 7th Canadian Screen Awards in 2019.He has also had roles in the films Rhymes for Young Ghouls, The Saver and Blood Quantum, and the television series Arctic Air, Saving Hope, Cardinal, Bad Blood and Diggstown.
