BIOGRAPHY

Brendan James Penny is a Canadian film and television actor who first became well known to TV audiences as A.J. Varland in the first season of Whistler that aired in Canada from 2006-2008. He is perhaps best known as Detective Brian Lucas in Motive, a Canadian Crime drama centered on a team of Vancouver Homicide detectives, also starring Kristin Lehman, Louis Ferreira and Lauren Holly, that aired from 2013-2016. Brendan is currently starring as Kevin OBrien in the family drama series Chesapeake Shores which premiered on August 14, 2016 to much fanfare and critical acclaim. The series is shot on location on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. A well known and beloved actor in the Canadian film scene, Brendan Pennys incredible talents are indisputable and it is easy to see why this warm, genuine, charming man with such diverse and immersive performing abilities is poised on the verge of international stardom.
