BIOGRAPHY

Britt Leach (born July 18, 1938; Gadsden, Alabama) is an American character actor. He is best known for his roles in the films Fuzz (1972), Interval (1973), The California Kid (1974), Jackson County Jail (1976), Goin South (1978), Loose Shoes (1978), Hardly Working (1980), High Noon, Part II: The Return of Will Kane (1980), Night Warning (1982), The Last Starfighter (1984), Silent Night, Deadly Night (1984), Weird Science (1985), Baby Boom (1987) and The Great Outdoors (1988). Leach has also made guest appearances in television shows such as The Brady Bunch, The Partridge Family, Bonanza, Tales from the Crypt and many others.During the fall of 1976, he was cast in the role of Mickey Wig Wiggins, an airplane mechanic, in the six-episode CBS adventure series, Spencers Pilots, starring Gene Evans, Christopher Stone, and Todd Susman.His final film role to date is an uncredited appearance in the 1991 film Father of the Bride in which his character, a supermarkets assistant manager, confronts Steve Martins character for making a scene in the supermarket he manages and has him imprisoned for it.In 2007, Leach did not renew his membership in the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and wrote of his frustration with DVD screeners in a satirical piece on his website.
