BIOGRAPHY

Catherine Zeta-Jones fondly known as Catherine Zeta made her debut as an actor in the film 1001 Nights (1990). It was in 1998 she got her recognition as an actor with the movie The Mask of Zorro. There was no turning back after that and Jones at present is considered a very bankable star. She has had a good career studded with a lot of awards to her credit. Her maiden award was the Blockbuster Entertainment Awards for Favorite Female Newcomer for The Mask of Zorro which has since been followed by many more. The iconic films in Jones career so far are The Mask of Zorro (1998), Entrapment (1999), Traffic (2000), Chicago (2002), Intolerable Cruelty (2003), Oceans Twelve (2004), The Terminal (2004), No Reservations (2007), A Little Night Music (2009), Side Effects (2013) and Red 2 (2013) to name a few. Zeta-Jones, daughter of David Jones, a sweet factory owner, and his wife Patricia, a seamstress, was born on 25 September 1969, in Swansea, Wales. She attended the independent Arts Educational Schools in Chiswick, London, for a three-year course in musical theatre.
