BIOGRAPHY

Channing Matthew Tatum professionally known as Channing Tatum made his debut as an actor in the film Coach Carter (2005). It was in 2006 that he had his breakthrough role with the movie Step Up which gave him stardom. He has had a good career studded with a lot of awards to his credit. His maiden award was the Gijón International Film Festival for Best Actor for A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints which has since been followed by many more. The iconic films in Tatums career so far are Step Up (2006), Shes the Man (2006), G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra (2009), Dear John (2010), The Dilemma (2011), The Vow (2012), Magic Mike (2012), 21 Jump Street (2012), White House Down (2013), 22 Jump Street (2014), Foxcatcher (2014), The Hateful Eight (2015), Hail, Caesar! (2016), and Logan Lucky (2017) to name a few. Tatum son of Kay Tatum and Glenn Tatum was born on April 26, 1980, in Cullman, Alabama. He attended Gaither High School and Tampa Catholic High School, where he graduated in 1998. He then attended Glenville State College in Glenville, West Virginia on a football scholarship, but dropped out.
