Charlize Theron made her debut as an actor in the film Children of the Corn III: Urban Harvest (1995). It was in 1997 she gained recognition as an actor with the film The Devils Advocate which gave her stardom. There was no turning back after that and Charlize Theron at present is considered a very bankable star. She has had a good career studded with a lot of awards to her credit. Her maiden award was the Bambi Award for Shooting Star: Female for The Cider House Rules which has since been followed by many more. The iconic films in Charlize Therons career so far are The Devils Advocate (1997), Mighty Joe Young (1998), The Cider House Rules (1999), Monster (2003), The Italian Job (2003), North Country (2005), Hancock (2008), Young Adult (2011), Snow White and the Huntsman (2012), Prometheus (2012), Mad Max: Fury Road (2015), The Fate of the Furious (2017), Atomic Blonde (2017), Tully (2018), and Bombshell (2019) to name a few. Theron, daughter of road constructionists Gerda and Charles Theron was born on 7 August 1975, in Benoni, South Africa. She attended Putfontein Primary School and National School of the Arts in Johannesburg. She was honored with a motion picture star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
