This is a list of the characters in Jeff Kinneys book series Diary of a Wimpy Kid, and in the film versions of the first, second, and third book. Diary of a Wimpy Kid is a series of graphic novels written by American author and cartoonist Jeff Kinney. The books are the journals of the main character named Greg Heffley.Diary of a Wimpy Kid is also a series of films based on the books. Jeff Kinney was an executive producer. Like the books, the movies are the journals of Greg Heffley who is played by Zachary Gordon.
