BIOGRAPHY

Clinton Eastwood Jr. made his debut as an actor in the film The First Traveling Saleslady (1956). It was in 1964 he gained recognition as an actor with the film A Fistful of Dollars. There was no turning back after that and Eastwood at present is considered as a very bankable star. He has had a good career studded with a lot of awards to his credit. His maiden award was the Bronze Wrangler Award for Fictional Television Drama for Rawhide which has since been followed by many more. The iconic films in Eastwoods career so far are Every Which Way but Loose (1978), Any Which Way You Can (1980), the Westerns Hang Em High (1968), Pale Rider (1985), Escape from Alcatraz (1979), Heartbreak Ridge (1986), In the Line of Fire (1993), The Bridges of Madison County (1995), Letters from Iwo Jima (2006), Changeling (2008), Invictus (2009), and American Sniper (2014) to name a few. Eastwood son of California to Ruth and Clinton Eastwood was born on May 31, 1930, at Saint Francis Memorial Hospital in San Francisco, California. He attended Piedmont Middle School and Oakland Technical High School. He was bestowed with two of Frances highest civilian honors, the Commander of the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres in 1994, and the Legion of Honour medal in 2007.
