BIOGRAPHY

Daniel Wroughton Craig professionally known as Daniel Craig made his debut as an actor in the film The Power of One (1992). It was in 2006 he gained international fame as an actor with the film Casino Royale. There was no turning back after that and Craig at present is considered as a very bankable star. He has had a good career studded with a lot of awards to his credit. His maiden award was the Edinburgh International Film Festival for Best British Performance for Love Is the Devil: Study for a Portrait of Francis Bacon which has since been followed by many more. The iconic films in Craigs career so far are The Power of One (1992), Sharpes Eagle (1993), A Kid in King Arthurs Court (1995), Our Friends in the North (1996), Elizabeth (1998), Love Is the Devil: Study for a Portrait of Francis Bacon (1998), The Trench (1999), Some Voices (2000), Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (2001), Road to Perdition (2002), Layer Cake (2004), Munich (2005), Casino Royale (2006), Quantum of Solace (2008), Skyfall (2012), and Spectre (2015) to name a few. Daniel Wroughton Craig son of an art teacher, Carol Olivia, and Timothy John Wroughton Craig was born on 2 March 1968, in Chester. He attended primary school in Frodsham and Hoylake, Merseyside, Hilbre High School in West Kirby, Merseyside, and Calday Grange Grammar School. Later, after multiple attempts at auditioning for drama schools, he was accepted at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and he graduated from there in 1991.
