BIOGRAPHY

Eddy Joseph (born in June 5 1945) is a British sound engineer.Educated at Abingdon School, Eddy joined the film industry in 1967 and became a sound engineer in 1981. In 1982 he won the BAFTA award for Best Sound, for Pink Floyd’s The Wall. In 2006 he repeated the earlier success by winning the BAFTA award for Best Sound once again, this time for Casino Royale.He has received a further six BAFTA nominationsThe Commitments in 1991Evita in 1996Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone in 2001Cold Mountain in 2003United 93 in 2006Quantum of Solace in 2008In addition he has also received 16 MPSE Motion Picture Sound Editors of America nominations.
