BIOGRAPHY

Elizabeth Ann Perkins professionally known as Elizabeth Perkins made her debut as an actor in the film About Last Night (1986). It was in 1988 she gained recognition as an actor with Big which gave her stardom. There was no turning back after that and Perkins at present is considered a very bankable star. She has had a good career studded with a lot of awards to her credit. Her maiden award was the Gold Derby TV Award for TV Movie/Mini Supporting Actress for Speak which has since been followed by many more. The iconic films in Elizabeths career so far are About Last Night (1986), Big (1988), The Flintstones (1994), Miracle on 34th Street (1994), Avalon (1990), and He Said, She Said (1991), 28 Days (2000), Cats & Dogs (2001), Must Love Dogs (2005), and Hop (2011) to name a few. Perkins, daughter of Jo Williams and James Perkins was born on November 18, 1960, in Queens, New York. She attended Northfield Mount Hermon School and received her Certificate in Acting from the Goodman School of Drama at DePaul University.
