Ella Lemhagen

Ella Lemhagen studied directing at Dramatiska Institutet1989-92. She made her debut asa feature film director in 1996 with the highly praised Drömprinsen - filmen omEm/The Prince of Dreams, for which she also wrote the original screenplay. Ellahas had great national and international success with her films. Her 1999feature Tsatsiki, morsan och polisen/Tsatsiki, Mum and the Policeman, is one ofthe most popular contemporary Swedish children- and youth oriented films of alltime. Patrik 1,5/Patrik, Age 1.5 earned wide international acclaim after itsworld premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2008. The CrownJewels (2011) is her latest film.
