Emily Olivia Leah Blunt professionally known as Emily Blunt made her debut as an actor in My Summer of Love (2004). It was in 2006 she gained recognition as an actor with the movie The Devil Wears Prada. There was no turning back after that and Emily at present is considered a very bankable star. She has had a good career studded with a lot of awards to her credit. Her maiden award was the Evening Standard British Film Awards for Most Promising Newcomer for My Summer of Love which has since been followed by many more. The iconic films in Emliys career so far are My Summer of Love (2004), The Devil Wears Prada (2006), The Young Victoria (2009), Salmon Fishing in the Yemen (2011), The Adjustment Bureau (2011), Looper (2012), and Edge of Tomorrow (2014), Into the Woods (2014), The Girl on the Train (2016), Mary Poppins Returns (2018), and A Quiet Place (2018) to name a few. Blunt, daughter of Joanna and Oliver Blunt, was born on 23 February 1983, in Wandsworth, London. She attended Ibstock Place School in Roehampton, southwest London and, at the age of 16, went to Hurtwood House near Dorking, Surrey, a private sixth form college known for its performing arts programme.
