BIOGRAPHY

Hugh Michael Jackman professionally known as John Goodman made his debut as an actor in Correlli (1995). He rose to fame in acting by playing the Wolverine in X-Men (2000). He has had a good career studded with a lot of awards to his credit. His maiden award was Saturn Award for Best Actor in a Film for X-Men which has since been followed by many more. The iconic films in Jackmans career so far are X-Men (2000), Kate & Leopold (2001), Van Helsing (2004), Prestige (2006), The Fountain (2006), Australia (2008), Les Misérables (2012), Prisoners (2013) and The Greatest Showman (2017) to name a few. Jackman son of Grace McNeil and Christopher John Jackman was born on 12 October 1968, in Sydney, New South Wales. He did his schooling at Pymble Public School and later attended the all-boys Knox Grammar School on Sydneys Upper North Shore. He then pursued his Bachelors degree in Communications from the University of Technology, Sydney. He was appointed a Companion of the Order of Australia in the 2019 Queens Birthday Honours for services to performing arts and to the global community and he also holds the Guinness World Record for longest career as a live-action Marvel superhero for his role in the X-Men film.
