Ilham Aliyev (İlham Heydər oğlu Əliyev (ilham hejdær oɣlu ælijœɥ); born 24 December 1961) is the fourth and current President of Azerbaijan, in office since 2003. He also functions as the Chairman of the New Azerbaijan Party and the head of the National Olympic Committee.
