Jack Farthing (born October 14, 1985) is an English actor who is notable for playing Freddie Threepwood in Blandings and George Balfour in The Riot Club. He has performed at the Royal Court Theatre and had a small role in Stephen Poliakoffs series Dancing on the Edge. Farthing has also recently been in BBC Ones hit show Poldark, playing antagonist banker George Warleggan.Farthing was educated at Westminster School, before reading History of Art at St Catherines College at Oxford University, and then attending LAMDA.
