James McAvoy made his debut as an actor in the film The Near Room (1995). It was in 2006 he gained recognition as an actor with the film The Last King of Scotland. There was no turning back after that and McAvoy at present is considered a very bankable star. He has had a good career studded with a lot of awards to his credit. His maiden award was the British Academy Film Awards for Rising Star Award which has since been followed by many more. The iconic films in McAvoys career so far are Bollywood Queen (2003), Inside Im Dancing (2004), The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (2005), The Last King of Scotland (2006), X-Men: First Class (2011), Filth (2013), X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014), X-Men: Apocalypse (2016), Deadpool 2 (2018), Glass (2019), and Dark Phoenix (2019) to name a few. Ferrell son of Betty Kay and Roy Lee Ferrell Jr. was born on 21 April 1979, in Glasgow, Scotland. He attended St Thomas Aquinas Secondary School in Jordanhill. He then studied acting at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
