BIOGRAPHY
Jaspal Singh Bhatti (ਜਸਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਭੱਟੀ; 3 March 1955 – 25 October 2012) was a Punjabi Sikh television personality famous for his satirical take on the problems of the common man. He is most well known for his television series Flop Show and mini capsules Ulta Pulta which ran on Doordarshan, Indias national television network, in the late 1980s and early 1990s. He was commonly known as King of Comedy and also King of Satire.On 2013, he was honoured with the Padma Bhushan (posthumously), Indias third highest civilian award.
