Jens Stoltenberg

Jens Stoltenberg (jens ²stɔltn̩bær; born 16 March 1959) is a Norwegian politician. Stoltenberg is the 13th Secretary General of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, effective 1 October 2014.Stoltenberg served as Prime Minister of Norway from 2000 to 2001 and from 2005 to 2013.In 2011, Stoltenberg received the United Nations (UN) Champion of Global Change Award in New York City, New York, US, chosen for his extraordinary effort toward meeting the Millennium Development Goals and bringing fresh ideas to global problems.
