John Christopher Depp II fondly known as Mr. Stench and professionally known as Johnny Depp made his debut as an actor in the film A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984). It was in 1994 he gained critical praise as an actor with the movie Ed Wood which gave him stardom. There was no turning back after that and Depp at present is considered a very bankable star. He has had a good career studded with a lot of awards to his credit. His maiden award was the Jupiter Award for Best International Actor for Don Juan DeMarco which has since been followed by many more. The iconic films in Depps career so far are Cry-Baby (1990), Ed Wood (1994), Dead Man (1995), Donnie Brasco (1997), Sleepy Hollow (1999), Finding Neverland (2004), Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005), Corpse Bride (2005), Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2007), Public Enemies (2009), Alice in Wonderland (2010), The Tourist (2010), Rango (2011), Dark Shadows (2012), Into the Woods (2014), Black Mass (2015), Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald (2018) and Pirates of the Caribbean film series (2003–present) to name a few. Depp son of Betty Sue Palmer and John Christopher Depp was born on June 9, 1963, in Owensboro, Kentucky. He did his schooling at Miramar High School but dropped out to become a rock musician. He has been listed in the 2012 Guinness World Records as the worlds highest-paid actor, with earnings of US$75 million.
