BIOGRAPHY

David Jude Heyworth Law professionally known as Jude Law made his debut as an actor in The Tailor of Gloucester (1989). It was in 1999 he gained world-wide recognition as an actor with the film The Talented Mr. Ripley. There was no turning back after that and Jude at present is considered as a very bankable star. He has had a good career studded with a lot of awards to his credit. His maiden award was the BAFTA Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role for The Talented Mr. Ripley which has since been followed by many more. The iconic films in Judes career so far are The Talented Mr. Ripley (1999), Enemy at the Gates (2001), A.I. Artificial Intelligence (2001), Road to Perdition (2002), Cold Mountain (2003), Closer (2004), The Holiday (2006), Sherlock Holmes (2009), Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows (2011), Contagion (2011), Hugo (2011), Side Effects (2013), The Grand Budapest Hotel (2014), Spy (2015), Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald (2018), and Captain Marvel (2019) to name a few. Law son of Margaret Anne Heyworth and Peter Robert Law was born on 29 December 1972 in Lewisham, South London. He attended John Ball Primary School in Blackheath, Kidbrooke School, and Alleyns School. He enrolled in National Youth Music Theatre programs during his teens.
