Kanakadurga is an Indian film actress best known for her work in Malayalam cinema. She hails from Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. She debuted in the Malayalam movie Nellu as Kurumatti. She had acted in few Tamil, Kannada, Telugu movies as well. She got married to Malayalam cinematographer Hemachandran and her daughter Manasa had acted in few Malayalam movies, later got married to Vikranth Tamil actor. Now she is acting in tele films and soap operas.
