Kurt Vogel Russell professionally known as Kurt Russell made his debut as an actor in The Travels of Jaimie McPheeters (1963). He has had a good career studded with a lot of awards to his credit. His maiden award was the Blockbuster Entertainment Awards for Favorite Actor – Adventure/Drama for Executive Decision which has since been followed by many more. The iconic films in Russells career so far are Escape from New York (1981), The Thing (1982), Silkwood (1983), Big Trouble in Little China (1986), Overboard (1987), Tango & Cash (1989), Backdraft (1991), Tombstone (1993), Stargate (1994), Escape from L.A. (1996), Miracle (2004), Sky High (2005), Death Proof (2007), The Hateful Eight (2015), Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017) and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019) to name a few. Russell son of actor Bing Russell and dancer Louise Julia Russell was born on March 17, 1951, in Springfield, Massachusetts. He graduated from Thousand Oaks High School in California in 1969.
