BIOGRAPHY

Leonardo Wilhelm DiCaprio professionally known as Leonardo DiCaprio made his debut as an actor in the film Critters 3 (1991). It was in 1993 that he had his first major role with the movie This Boys Life which gave him stardom. He has had a good career studded with a lot of awards to his credit. His maiden award was the Los Angeles Film Critics Association for New Generation Award for Whats Eating Gilbert Grape which has since been followed by many more. The iconic films in DiCaprios career so far are This Boys Life (1993), Whats Eating Gilbert Grape (1993), Titanic (1997), Catch Me If You Can (2002), Gangs of New York (2002), The Aviator (2004), Blood Diamond (2006), The Departed (2006), Revolutionary Road (2008), Inception (2010), Django Unchained (2012), The Wolf of Wall Street (2013), The Revenant (2015), and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019) to name a few. Leonardo Wilhelm DiCaprio son of Irmelin and George DiCaprio was born on November 11, 1974, in Los Angeles, California. He attended Seeds Elementary School and later went to John Marshall High School. He was listed as one of the 100 most influential people in the world by Time magazine in 2006.
