Liam John Neeson professionally known as Liam Neeson made his debut as an actor in the film Pilgrims Progress (1978). It was in 1993 he gained wider recognition as an actor with the movie Schindlers List which gave him stardom. He has had a good career studded with a lot of awards to his credit. His maiden award was Chicago Film Critics Association Award for Best Actor for Schindlers List which has since been followed by many more. The iconic films in Neesons career so far are Excalibur (1981), The Bounty (1984), The Mission (1986), Next of Kin (1989), Schindlers List (1993), Nell (1994), Michael Collins (1996), Les Misérables (1998), Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace (1999), Kinsey (2004), Batman Begins (2005), The Grey (2011), Silence (2016), and Taken (2008–2014) to name a few. Liam John Neeson son of Katherine Neeson and Bernard Neeson was born on 7 June 1952, in Ballymena, Northern Ireland. He was enrolled as a physics and computer science student at Queens University Belfast, before leaving to work for the Guinness Brewery. Empire magazine ranked Neeson among both the 100 Sexiest Stars in Film History and The Top 100 Movie Stars of All Time. In 2020, he was listed at number 7 on The Irish Times list of Irelands greatest film actors.
