BIOGRAPHY

Mary Elizabeth Winstead fondly known as MEW Mary made her debut as an actor in the film The Long Road Home (1999). It was only in 2005 she got the major breakthrough of her career with the movie Sky High which gave her stardom. There was no turning back after that and Margot at present is considered a very bankable star. She has had a good career studded with a lot of awards to her credit. Her maiden award was the Shining Star Award at the Dallas International Film Festival for Best Best Actress for Smashed which has since been followed by many more. The iconic films in Winsteads career so far are Monster Island (2004), Sky High (2005), Final Destination 3 (2006), Black Christmas (2006), Death Proof (2007), Live Free or Die Hard (2007), Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010), Smashed (2012), Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter (2012), Faults (2014),10 Cloverfield Lane (2016), BrainDead (2016), Gemini Man (2019) and Birds of Prey (2020) to name a few. Mary, daughter of Betty Lou and James Ronald Winstead was born on November 28, 1984, in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. She studied in Peruvian Park Elementary. She studied dance in a Joffrey Ballet summer program in Chicago.
