Melanie Hill

Melanie Jane Hill (born 11 January 1962) is an English actress, best known for playing Aveline in Bread (1986–1991), Rita Dolan in Kay Mellor drama Playing the Field (1998–2002), Maggie Budgen in BBC school-based drama Waterloo Road (2012–2015), Julie Travers in popular BBC drama The Syndicate (2015) and Cathy Matthews in ITV soap opera Coronation Street (2015–present)
